3059Bloody V-Day
I was breathless, shocked and unbelievably happy. My prince had come and was ready to take me away. But then the fine details lit like kerosene, like a flash bang in a instant it was all gone. Only tears and fear was left, could I overcome? It’s been three years to the date and no I haven’t. Every 14th the wounds are spread open fresh and as painful as the day the communication stopped. The fine details sting like grains of salt slowly falling into the pink tissue. Your face, your vocie, even your laugh haunts me from the tips of my toes to the crown of my head.
I don’t want to think anymore, so I drown my thoughts and my emotions in a sea of false hope and promises. I knew what I wanted and I gambled everything and I lost big. And now as the tears swell I don’t know what should come next. As the breathe escapes my lungs, I cough back all that I have buried in my soul and in my heart. Like a great slumbering monster, the hurt and anger begins to grow and fester.
My chest sinks as if something is stealing the air from my lips and all I can do is sit there and watch. I become weak and sadden by what will happen next and how long I will be alone. But I am not alone…But it feels like I am. And on this day it always will.

Hey hey guys! Just cleared out my desk during some winter break cleaning and came across a generous amount of art supplies that I have either used once and never went back to, used a lot but still had some juice in ‘em, OR are brand new!! Figured there’s no need for this stuff to go to waste, so why not make a giveaway out of it?
SO HERE’S THE DEAL. There will be one winner. This winner will receive:
-A small 4x6 black sketchbook, normal paper. [Used. The pages that were used have been removed and the beginning looks a little beat up, but there are PLENTY of clean sheets left!]
-A very small mini photo album. [Brand new.]
-A medium-sized purple sketchbook, thick paper for wet media. [Brand new. The interesting thing about this one - each sheet has a piece of tracing paper right before it. No idea how this can be utilized to its best ability but I’m sure you creative peeps will come up with something!]
-Four prismacolor markers: Sienna Brown, Brick Beige, Dark Brown and Dark Umber. [Used. All tested and work great!]

-Set of 10 prismacolor colored pencils: White and Red are sadly missing. [Heavily used, but these are expensive colored pencils and there’s no use getting rid of them!]

-Set of 3 blender pens for water-based ink. [Brand new.]
-Cray-Pas pastels. [Used. All tested and work great!]
-Neocolor professional crayons. [Used. All tested and work great!]
-Set of 6 Faber-Castell brush pens. [Used. All tested and work great!]
-A fountain inking pen, complete with plenty of refills! [Used. When testing, it appeared that the previous ink cartridge was running low, but I didn’t want to poke a hole in a brand new one for travel. It will most likely need a new one installed for its next use.]

Hello, tumblr.
So I’ve got this pretty solid collection of Copic art markers. They’re great. I like them a lot. But here’s the thing: I am so allergic to them that I can’t use them without wearing an industrial strength respiratory mask, which is very uncomfortable and awkward, meaning I haven’t used these beautiful markers in over a year and have no intention to in the future.
They’re lonely. They’re unloved. They need a new artistic mind to command them. Could that artistic mind be…yours?

I’d thought about trying to sell some of my Copic collection for a while but it turns out I can’t be bothered with the trouble and anyway I prefer giving things away (related fact: I will never be rich). And though I am but a humble internet-no-one-in-particular with not many people following this blog I thought, surely, someone is going to see this and want these magnificent markers, right?
Copic markers are, in my opinion, the best art markers you can get. They’re incredibly versatile—they can go on perfectly flat and smooth to look like digital colouring, they can be blended to look like watercolours, they can do a lot of things! However, their quality is reflected in their cost and although they’re worth every penny, at $4 to $7 per marker they can be prohibitively expensive, especially for students. So, here’s a chance to win a pretty great set!

Almost definitely not. Most people aren’t bothered by Copics at all, I’m just super unlucky and oversensitive. The markers have very little smell, especially compared to other art markers.
